1970s Weebles; Man with Blue Shirt "Peelable" Weeble ; Rare & Hard-to-Find.
This type of weeble was one of the original weebles first produced in 1971.
Collectors commonly refer to them as "peelable weebles" since the lithograph is on the exterior and can easily be peeled off. These early weebles lack exterior plastic covers to protect their lithos, so most have been destroyed through the years, making them highly sought after by collectors. To find one completely intact without any tears or rips is almost impossible.
This weeble is in overall excellent condition. His colors are rich and vibrant, but he has lost 2 small areas of litho on the back of his head.
He measures 2 1/8" tall and is so wobbly cute. He will make a wonderful addition to your vintage Weeble toy collection.
