We are very proud to offer a beautiful Chinese vintage (possibly antique) green jade jadeite 8.5 inch bracelet (end-to-end) with 11 beads that are pierced and hollow and have 12 holes per bead. The beads measure about 16.48 mm lengthwise x 13.72 mm high. The bracelet weighs 39 grams. It has a marked 14K gold clasp that has a hallmark, but we cannot make out the hallmark. This is a rare scarce kind of carved green jade beads with carving that looks to us like a Shou sign, and stylized writhing dragons. It is extremely difficult to carve beads like these. We are confident that they are not dyed because when the necklace was soaked in water and dried on a white towel, no green color came off. In addition, no green color came off with treated with acetone. But the real value, of course, is the exquisite masterful carving that produced these magnificent pierced and hollow green jadeite beads. It would take a master stone carver to make these beads, especially since jade is so hard. It is just exquisite. It is a treasure!
