This adorable necklace has a sterling pendant in the shape of a "CRAB". There are fossil coral beads dyed green. Some are inset with small emeralds. I set the tiny emerald beads in "holes" in coral. The slightly oblong green beads are "SUGAR-CANE" (Sakota) emeralds from Brazil. There are small green emerald beads. There are silver spiral beads. The reducer beads, caps, & clasp are sterling. The emeralds are dyed (with oils) & filled for enhancement. But, the emeralds themselves are earth-mined although of a lower grade, ie, Grade B - the lowest. I just love how great the dyed fossil corals go with the sugar-cane emeralds. The fossil coral beads are fun to "inspect" (one-at-a-time) with their holes, pitting, & asterisim, This is a wonderful and fun-to-wear necklace, especially if you collect "crabs" and/or fossil corals.
