Here is a great early cut and engraved glass covered pokal or urn. This covered vase has great cut, faceted and engraved details, very similar to some pieces that were produced by Steuben. However, after talking to numerous collectors, I believe this predates Steuben and was produced by Stevens & Williams. It likely dates to the late 1800's. It stands 10" tall and measures 4" across. There is a chip on the inside lip of the cover, small nick on the top of the base, and pinpoint one of edge of the base (see pictures). There are no other noted damages or repairs. An excellent addition to any glass collection!
