Here is an art glass table late made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920's - 30's. This piece is reminiscent of the famous Rene Lalique formose vase. It features fish and seaweed throughout the piece. The art deco fittings appear to be original to the piece. The glass section is approximately 6 1/2" by 6 1/2", with the lamp having an overall height of 17 1/2". When looking for the mark on the bottom to determine if this example was produced by Lalique or Czech, I did discover a chip on the top rim of the glass, which is concealed by the metalwork. There is some oxidation to the metal. The lamp holds two bulbs, with the second bulb illuminating the interior. It has been tested an is in proper working. This lamp is a wonderful bright accent to any room!
