Circa 1903 sterling cane or walking stick handle made by Frank Schofield, owner of the Baltimore Silversmith Manufacturing Company. This luxurious object was personalized for its owner with the initials REC engraved on the top of the hand hold and could also serve as an umbrella or parasol handle.

It measures 11 inches long including the brass hardware, and the slightly domed cap is 1 7/8th across.
