This tiny perfume flacon was created during WWII when Georg Jensen moved operations out of Denmark and into the US — hence the USA designation on the bottom. The small glass beaker fits snugly inside the silver sleeve and sits on a spring. To close it, you push the glass beaker down and slide the pivoting cover over it to hold it in place. Jensen's famous acorn design ornaments the top of the hinged cover.
Each of the hinged arms is made of two strips that are separately soldered to the top. One of the straps on one side has separated at the soldered joint. It does not show in the photos because it is holding its position.
1.75 inches tall
The silver is marked: Georg Jensen, Inc. U.S.A. Sterling
