Cast as Shoulao with his long flowing beard and high forehead, he holds a contemporary peach; the original, which would have been enameled, is missing. He is also missing his original dragon-headed cane and holds an old carved bone staff as an alternate. He stands on a simple wooden conical frustrum base.

Shou is elegantly dressed in lavish robes with draped sleeves. His hands are positioned to hold his staff in his right and the peach of immortality in his left hand. The back of his robe and sleeves are embossed with the character for longevity.

A slender border is broken off the edge of the loose sash that hangs from his belt and his head has several dents.
