The seated doll is likely from the Bakumatsu Era (1853-1867), which is the very, very tail end of the Edo Period right before the Meiji government began.
The doll is in good to very good condition considering his age. . The doll are made of gofun, wood, silks and metals. Their outfits has age wear like some fading to the silk. The black lacquer on the armor has been flaking away. The seated doll is a 12" Samurai is in very good condition. He had a thumb missing on his left hand. He is missing his right hand fingertips. He wears a very old warrior outfit. His multi plate armor is the one with flaking black lacquer. He has a old wood stand to sit on. One leg of the stand had let loose. I will pack him myself for safe travels. He is from a non smoking environment. I am open to any reasonable offer
