A beautiful Noritake porcelain serving dish which is divided into 4 semi-circle sections around a central round section, each of which is hand painted with delicate roses and other flowers. The dish measures 9 1/4" diameter by 1 1/4" deep, the edge of the dish is scalloped and is finished in a rich bright rust. The dish has a small scratch in the enamel with an underlying short hairline, this is very small, in a harder to see location and appears entirely stable, see photo; other than this the condition is excellent with lovely bright colors and intact paint finish, rather exceptional considering that it is over 100 years old. The base of the dish is fully marked with the green Morimura brothers back-stamp that dates it to 1916. See photos for all the details.
