A beautiful miniature domed chest or trinket box smothered with ornate marquetry designs. The box measures 3 3/4" wide by 2 3/4" deep (including the plinth base) by 2 1/2" tall, it is in a mixture of dark and light woods, and a light resin or bone, with painted green wooden accents on the central medallion on the dome. The lid of the box is hinged and closes with a pretty brass clasp, the interior is lined with a red velour. This is a lovely little box to use to store rings, earrings or other small items, it would also make a lovely chest for a smaller sized doll or large scale doll house.
