A beautiful black lacquered wood Asian cigarette box with an integral round brass ashtray that has a decorative border of men smoking. The box has an internal compartment for cigarette storage & an indent for holding matches or a zippo lighter.

The box is unmarked and measures approx. 13" long by 7" wide by 2 1/2" tall, it has a low elegant profile. The outside of the box is richly inlaid with mythical animals, butterflies, leaves & flowers. The condition is excellent with some very light scuffs and surface scratches, these do not detract unduly from the piece which is visually ornate and rather fabulous, please look at the pictures as part of the description.

This is a wonderfully decorative and very practical Asian smokers box that would be perfect for a coffee or side table.
