Really beautifully hand woven vintage plaidwool throw in an unusual combination of cream, olive, gold tan and black, finished with looped fringes to each end. The throw measures approx. 52" long by 32" wide, and has an original cloth tag for the weaver Catherine Ballock, it dates to around the early 50's. The throw is in good order other than having one tiny pull and approx. 5 small holes, these pretty much disappear against the busy pattern, I had to hold to the light in order to clearly show the worst example (third photo, magnified image), it might also benefit from a dry clean or airing as it has been stored. This is a stylish throw that looks wonderful over the back of a large chair or sofa, it creates and inviting but sophisticated layered look, and would be perfect for your fall and winter decor.
