TWO OLD SEWING RELATED CARDBOARD BOXES
1/ Circa 1930's Columbia Fastener Company Starsnap dress fastener advertising cardboard box, this is undated but has graphics that are clearly of the early Art Deco period. The box measures 5 1/4" by 3 3/4" by 2", the box does show some overall staining with splitting to the corners at one end, but is a good looking period advertising piece not withstanding the wear.
2/ Nice vintage J. & P. Coates cardboard box for six cord spool cotton, this is crisp and strong, there are two tears to the corners and slight overall wear, and the name Rebecca is written in pencil to the base. The box measures 6 1/2" long by 3" wide, it has a printed design of a lion and eagle to the lid, and is marked for the United States. This is a great looking spool box in better than average shape, great for display as it has really great graphics
