Superbly elegant footed open serving bowl in the Harmony House, Mount Vernon pattern by Hall China. This delightful design features pink roses and blue and yellow garlands with a gold rim. The pattern was produced between 1941 & 1959, and then discontinued. The bowl measures 8" across the bowl, 10 3/4" from handle end to handle end, and 3 1/4" tall, it has no chips or cracks, just very slight signs of wear, overall it is in very good vintage condition and looks hardly used.
The Hall China Company of East Liverpool, Ohio was established in 1903 and became the largest manufacturer of teapots in the world. The Harmony House line was made for Sears & Roebuck by a number of companies including Hall China, Homer Laughlin, Salem China, Universal and Japan Fine China, the blue back-stamp is shown in the pictures.
This elegant bowl in a beautiful mid century design would be a great addition to an existing service, or lovely to mix this in with other china. This listing is for one bowl, I also have many other pieces in this pattern, and would be happy to combine shipping, see my store.
