Really beautiful gilt hand painted Noritake bowl with undulating form and 4 small cabriole feet. The bowl has a design is of yellow roses set against green leaves with dark lavender shadow, it is marked with the pale green 1918 back-stamp of 1918, which is transitional from the Nippon Era to Deco Era, it measures approx 4" tall by 8" wide at the point of the handle.
The bowl is in good as to age, there are a couple of very tiny rubs in the design, which even under the highly magnified camera image hardly show, see photos, and there is slight wear to the gilding. This is a beautiful early Nippon bowl with a delightful yellow rose design that would take pride of place in a collection,
I also have a lovely early Nippon vase with yellow roses in another listing and would be happy to combine shipping, see my store.
