This is an original large Currier and Ives lithograph print, frame opening 15" by 11" (total frame 19" by 15 1/2"), entitled "Julia". The print depicts a lovely lady with highly ornate hair style with flowers, wearing a lovely gown and choker necklace. The print dates from around the 1860's, and is still in the nineteenth century original grooved hardwood frame with the original backing. Signed to the bottom "Published by Currier and Ives, 125 Nassau St. New York". The print shows age related toning and slight foxing, but shows very well, see photos as part of the description. Very charming early print, I am finding these increasingly difficult to source, pricing may come in lower depending on the destination, in which case I will refund.
