Signed Coro Owlet Pin Dated to 1948, Estate
**For confidence in buying, please read the About Us section. Please do not hesitate to write if you have any questions! Thank you! ______________________________
If you have ever wondered what to wear to dress up that demure 1940s sweater or blouse...this is definitely the answer!
This wonderful owl pin is from an estate and has never been on the market before it was first offered for sale, 1948. It is in vintage mint condition.
Highly collectible, this design is called "owlet" and was created by Coro. It is featured in Julia Carroll's highly respected book, "Collecting Costume Jewelry" and is identified as the design which was released during 1948. Although there are many versions of this pin, this is one of the rarest designs in this style by Coro...so yes, it is indeed accurately dated.
The brooch measures 1-5/8" or slightly over 4 cm at the widest point. It is 1.5 inches or 4 cm in height.
