Antique Edwardian Hats on Stylish Women circa 1910 Photograph
**For confidence in buying, please read the About Us section. Please do not hesitate to write if you have any questions! Thank you! ______________________________
Anyone who adores the PBS series, "Mr. Selfridge" will love this photograph. It is a genuine photograph taken circa 1910 of three friends who were likely having a lot of fun!
These images are called RPPCs...an abbreviation for "real-photo postcards". This type of photography became popular around 1902. This image is indeed a hand-printed photograph, but developed onto a special, pre-printed postcard card stock.
The image is wonderful...their clothing could not be more lovely and stylish. The hats and clothing are dated to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
This is in antique near mint condition with a barely discernible, ever so slight crease in one corner of the postcard, that is only apparent upon very close inspection.
This was likely caused while the paper was removed from the developer, and does not enter into the actual image. The postcard was never sent.
It measures approximately 3.5 inches or 9 cm by 5.5 inches or 14 cm.
