A superb example of a Selro Blackamoor princess face bracelet from the early 1950s.
The faces have complete painted detail intact, and the colors are rich and striking. Each have a faux pearl at the chin and hoop earrings in their ears and elaborate silver-tone head-dresses. The links with the marquis-shaped cabochons have 4 small white round stones on each side of the large stone.
The bracelet is heavily cast shining silvertone metal with shining scarlet molded thermoset insets. The fold-over box clasp is secure.
The bracelet is in excellent as new condition, with no paint loss at all and minimal loss to the finish on the faux pearls.
It is 6 3/4 inches long; each link is 1 5/8 inches high.
It is so rare to find a Selro bracelet in such wonderful condition. This one is a really special find for your collection.
