This handsome early 1900's English brass picture frame with Arts & Crafts Movement styling measures 8 1/2" tall and 6 7/8" at the widest (base). The picture opening measures about 6 3/8" x 4". The frame retains it's original bevelled glass, and has an easel back. At some point, it looks as though perhaps someone tried to clean the brass. The patina looks shiny and somewhat iridescent in areas (see photos). Also, I didn't even notice this until now, but one of the top corners is slightly bent back. Neither of these flaws seem to distract from the beauty & charm of this frame.
