Fabulous, huge Giraffe Brooch by Coro. White rhinestones set in shiny gold tone metal with a red rhinestone eye.

A wondrously dimensional and iconic "book piece" featured in many books about costume jewelry. My research library is currently packed away, so I cannot verify the exact date the giraffe pin was produced. Safe to say it dates from the late 1930s, early 1940s.

Measures approx. 3-5/8" tall by 3-1/4" wide by 1/2" deep.

Marked "Coro" in script on the back at the top of the thigh.

Very good vintage condition with all stones present and almost all bright and white. Gold tone metal smooth and gleaming. Pin, hinge and safety work great .Any dark spots in the photos are reflections of the camera
