GERMAN OXFORD SOUVENIR BROWN OXFORD SHO. Souvenir brown glazed porcelain men's Oxford Tie Shoe, Left Foot with 4 paired lace-up holes comes with vintage metal aglet tipped laces consistent with its time period. Shoe is a dip-glazed, chalk white made by a Royal Bayreuth competitor at the turn of the century. (This is a colored glaze, versus a clear glaze over a painted surface(. Shoe came in Left Foot and Right Foot.

Shoe was acquired 29 years ago in the San Francisco area at an Estate Auction of a lady who collected shoes.

Oxford Shoe measures a hefty 6-1/4" long by 2-1/2" wide and weighs a hefty 6.3 oz.

Made by a Royal Bayreuth competitor (unmarked).

Condition Excellent, occasional glaze pop.

Circa 1900 from Germany, unmarked.
