RUSSIAN CIGAR CASE/BOX - with dovetail invisible hinge originally designed by Peter Carl Faberge. Rare Russian Karelian Beechwood Burl is expertly hand crafted from the Edwardian Era. Made from only two pieces of Russian Burl Wood. The dovetail and hinges of the lid fit together so perfectly that when closed the case appears seamless. When closed there are no straight lines, only soft curved edges making it pleasing to hold. Clasp is elegantly curved, barely emerging from the edge. Purchased for me many years ago in an Antique Store in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Workmanship is perfection Truly exquisite.

Cigar Case/Box measures 6-7/8" long by 4-5/8" wide. Cigar indentations are 5-3/4" long and 7/8" wide. Box weighs 123.4 grams
