Sitting Pig Decanter with Top Hat - very well executed porcelain. He's very dapper! Made by the Takito Company (1880-1948) before 1945. Mark on bottom is badly worn but can be partially seen with a loupe. The makers mark is the double 'T T" inside two rectangles with "Hand Painted' at the top and "Made in Nippon" at the bottom. After 1944, would be printed "Made in Occupied Japan". See Ref: "Collector's Encyclopedia of Nippon Porcelain" by Van Patten, page 78, figure 15.
Pig is 7" tall with his top hat and 4" wide around his belly. Cork is in good condition. He does not appear to have ever been used.
