19th c. England Porcelain Vase Peacock Phoenix Gold Cobalt
This listing is for an exceptional 19th c. porcelain vase. Stunning blue cobalt with gold trim. Hand painted design is stunning. The bird is a peacock / phoenix and a butterfly.
EVERY LEAF, PETAL BIRD AND BUTTERFLY IS OUTLINED IN GOLD.
Base is marked with a crown, shield / armour and initials. I am not sure of the initials on the base - RH, RN, RM, KH?
Believe this was made in England / Germany / Austria.
Measures 11 3/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide.
It is in excellent antique condition. There is slight crazing. Any white in the photos is from my camera flash. Remember that you are looking at an antique item that was used. Ask all needed questions before purchase.
