André Renoux (1939-2002) is considered the "father" of the Paris School of Urban Realism. This is one of many shopfronts he has immortalized. What a vivid orange-gold Couleurs et Vernis (paints and varnishes) is! I can't find such a shop in existence today, but it was apparently a paint shop. I'm confused if it's an artist's paint shop or for home interior. Maybe both! The exterior certainly lives up to the name of "Golden Sun." This is one of my favorite cards in Renoux's portfolio. Unused. Near Mint Condition. See the faint lines in the bottom white border? I can't explain those. In one other card I had, those lines were in the top white border?! Circa 1980s-1990s. About 5.75 by 4-1/8 inches.
To see all the Renoux cards currently available, use RENOUX in the word search box. If you see a card you'd like to buy individually that is part of one of the group listings, message me and I'll see if I have an individual card to offer/get listed for you ASAP.
BUY More, Save More: with a minimum $50 order, you'll get a $10 discount, and shipping within the US is $3.75 whether you buy one or 10, so collect away! Details on my shop home page on how to handle check out so I can change the price before you pay to give you your savings.
