Beautiful early 19th Century hand colored engraving of Etruscan ornament. Prints such as these were originally made as models for artisans to copy and were responsible for the dissemination of various styles. They are both signed lower right Roccheggiani fece (made by Roccheggiani).

Undated but we have seen similar items dated circa 1818. Beautifully matted and framed ready to display. In very good used condition, mounted on cardboard with toning, imperfections and margin tears mostly concealed by mat as shown.
Measurements: Frame: 20 1/2" by 14 1/2"; Plate Marks: 11 3/4" by 6 15/18" approximately.
