Lovely pair of antique French engravings on laid paper entitled Les Confidences and Le Boudoir after works by the Swiss artist Sigismond Freudenberger (1745-1802). The first depicts two ladies exchanging confidences and the second a lady dozing away on her day bed, with a book in her hand, while a young couple frolics outside her window.

The are hand tinted in yellow, blue and brown and come in lovely carved and gilt wood frames as shown. In very good used condition, mounted on board, with toning, minor foxing and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
