Gorgeous antique French sterling silver 2" napkin ring, 95% pure silver with subtly convex sides, elegant Louis XVI or rococo style pattern including rocaille bordering, floral accents, interlaced "ES" monogram and fabulous condition! The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 1st quality for .950 silver content (the tiny number "1" within the mark designating 95% pure silver and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Ernest Compere, Paris circa 1868-1888.

Very good to excellent condition. This one weighs a bulky 54 grams, built to last, great condition as you can see from the images. Some slight surface scuffs possible and it's recently been polished to a high shine. See pictures for measurements.
