The original item from Timeless Pieces Antiques is now SOLD.
This young man unglazed chinahead doll was done in 1962. The shoulderplate is signed in the back as photographed. The painting is very finely done, in the manner of an Emma Clear or Clairmaid doll. His blond hair is just great. He has a nicely weighted body that sits very well. He is dressed in a velvet suit with a great off white shirt with lace trim. There is no damage to any of the bisque or cloth body. He stands 16-1/2” tall. The last photo shows this young man with a friend and a teaset—both will soon be available in the store.
