Vintage Ceramic Cartoonish Boxer or Terrier Dog Figurine, Japan

This vintage ceramic white and dark gray Boxer or Terrier figurine has been cold painted by hand. It has big blue eyes with long lashes. It's muzzle has tiny black dots and a small black nose. A bright red mouth and tongue complete it's very cartoonish face. This figurine is in good condition but the dark gray paint has some tiny scratches and is worn in a couple of spots. The firing hole in the bottom has a rim chip, but this may have been done in the manufacturing process. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The bottom is very faintly stamped, 'JAPAN' (found with magnifying glass) and there is a small black 'HC' on the back of his right hind foot. This cute, scruffy looking little dog measures 3 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide. Full of Charm! Price: $10
