From the 1930's is this fine example of Buffalo China Multifleure restaurant ware. In 1925, Buffalo China developed the process of mixing several body colors together to get a marbleized look and called it Multifleure. The colors were called Colorado, Rouge, Cafe au Lait, Lune and Ivory. All those colors are present on the oval side serving plate. Measuring 9 1/2" by 6 1/2"; the thick ceramic is in very good vintage condition; the only thing to note is a minor dulling of the glaze in the bottom from serving many side dishes. The swirl of the colors is fantastic, some are muted some are vibrant. Marked on the back in dark blue or black; Buffalo China; BAA
