An early classic period heavy silver Navajo cluster bracelet from the 1920's. Featuring lovely deep blue-green Battle Mountain turquoise meticulously set in early checker file bezels with twisted wire and hammered spots and tear drops set atop a solidly crafted chisel cut heavy gauge three bar constructed bracelet of early triangle wire and flat cut heavy bar stock. The stones are all original and are now after almost one hundred years a very rich deep Battle Mountain green. This is a museum piece that inspired so many later copies. 5 3/4" circumference with a 1" gap. Tested as sterling silver. Weight is 62.8 grams. Face of the bracelet is 1 5/8" tall.
