A well made early classic Navajo cluster bracelet from the 1940's featuring a heavy solid silver construction composed of three triangle wire supports which free of any defects or breaks as some of the later thinner pieces are subject to. Sitting atop the base are over fifty large natural Blue Gem turquoise stones that are all original to the piece an exhibit a lovely and well aged blue-green unified hue. A 5 1/2" interior with a 1 1/4" gap which should be easily adjustable due to the strong and heavy construction of this piece. Other hallmarks include the finely twisted wire and stamped raindrops that adorn the edges and interior of this marvelous piece of craftsmanship. This is not a lighter gauge flimsy bracelet found all too often in the later period, this is heavy well made original piece of Dineh work. Height of center cluster almost 3" x 2 1/2". Center stone 1 1/4" x 3/4". Large side stones 1/2" x 1/4". Circular stones 5mm. Tested as sterling silver. Weight is 88.5 grams.
