Natural turquoise Santo Domingo turquoise necklace with turquoise jacla drops circa 1930. Weight is 161.4 grams. Necklace length is 32". The Cerrillos turquoise heishi and tab necklace is a beautiful color green. The turquoise heishi is randomly alternating with shell heishi and features matching jacla suspended from the tab necklace. The jacla match the necklace beautifully with coral glass bead accents.
Jaclas were originally worn as earrings but in the 20th century they were added to the bottom of necklaces. The necklace is strung on cotton string with squaw wrap.
