This bolo was made in the mid sixties and is attributed to Vera Luna, one of the great Zuni artists. The figure is inlaid with abalone,coral, turquoise, jet and MOP. The figure is the form of the Apache Gahn Dancer or Mountain Spirit Dancer. The Dancer is 2 3/4" tall and 1 1/2" wide. The tips are 2 1/8" long with a 6mm bench made bead on the end. Tested as sterling silver. Weight is 31.9 grams. The cord measures 36" long and is supple and ready to wear.
