This vintage 1920’s Golliwogg glass perfume bottle has been in storage for many years and was most likely originally purchased in Atlanta from Chamberlain-Johnson-du Bose Co. department store which ceased business in 1931. This one is one of three bottles, all found together. This one is 3 3/8 inch tall with the hair.
All three bottles have the original front paper labels identifying them as Le Golliwogg de Vigny. The largest bottle has a paper price label on the bottom, which is difficult to read, but says “Chamberlain-Johnson-du Bose Co.” The stopper has the original facial markings as well as the black dot design on the collar and painted black feet. This one is in excellent condition with the original hair on the stopper. There is no perfume residue in this bottle.
