Indiana Glass Blue Vase / Urn
This lovely urn vase is a wonderful sky blue, with shading from the top to the base, becoming darker at the base. It is a great urn shape with a stable round foot and measures 8 inches tall with a 3½ inch diameter at the top. The top of the piece is slightly fluted to add to the presence of the piece. This vase is pressed glass with a diamond shaped pattern and leaves and flowers surrounding it. I do not know the name for this pattern, but it is lovely.
A kind Ruby Lane shop owner has added this information about this vase. The original pattern name was MADRID by Federal Glass. This particular item you have was not made until after 1976 when Federal reissued the pattern under the name RECOLLECTION. Federal went bankrupt, and the molds were sold to Indiana. They reproduced many of the items and then created many new pieces that were not part of the original production. Indiana produced your vase/urn by gluing the candlestick to the tumbler.
