This vintage flower brooch comes from Warner circa 1950s. It has also been called a day to night movable flower brooch. It is featured in Nancy N. Shiffer's 1991 Fun Jewelry book on p. 25. It can be worn opened or closed or anything in between dependent upon how you open and close the petals. There is another flower inside the larger flower so that when worn open there are two visible flowers. This vintage movable flower brooch by Warner is book valued between $225.00 to $300.00. It's made of a brushed goldtone color metal. Offered at a very reasonable price for today's market conditions, this vintage Warner brooch is a must have for the serious collector. I have also separately listed a pair of Monet flower clip earrings which complement the Warner flower brooch very well.
The petal work is exquisitely detailed as are the leaves. There is a cartouche on the back which is stamped Warner. The condition of this Warner brooch is so pristine that it is hard to imagine the Warner flower brooch is approximately 60 years old.
