This sterling medal is marked with the following marks: Anchor & Lion Rampant (which denotes the city of Birmingham, England and 925 Sterling), the letter V and the maker’s marks which are J.F for James Fenton, first half of the 20th Century. There are older James Fenton marks from the 1800s, but I believe based on the design of the V, that this is c.1920.
The medal has a wonderful scene of divers and swimmers in a pool. At the top of the round sterling medal is a crown which perhaps suggests a national competition. Weighs 8.33 grms. The jump ring also has the lion mark.
Size: Note that the medal appears larger in the photos than in real life. It is 1.5 inches long by 1 inch wide.
Wear it on a silver chain as a necklace, on a charm bracelet or clip it on a watch chain fob. Condition is good vintage. I have not polished it, but it is sterling silver so can easily be polished brighter if you wish. I love the silver patina found on vintage and antique pieces.
