Striking Art Deco Style jewelry was a favorite design motif of Kenneth Jay Lane's. It was sophisticated, stream-lined and modern. Pieces from his Art Deco inspired collections can be seen on p. 106 & 107 of Faking It by Kenneth Jay Lane and pp. 42&43 of Brillanti Illusioni by Maria Teresa Cannizzaro
This stylish pin and matching clip earring set are marked ©KJL which date it to the 1990s. This design was issued more than once. The black circles are plastic, with clear rhinestones set in a rhodium plated metal and the green “jade” is carved glass.
