A heavy sterling silver footed bowl made by Stieff in the mid 1900s. Done in the style of a classic Paul Revere piece this deep bowl or bon bon dish flares out at the mouth and has a ringed foot. The foot is not weighted. The bowl is not monogrammed. The bottom is stamped STIEFF STERLING 024-2 and it has its original foil label declaring Stieff is Silver Superior. Measurements are 6" diameter at the top, 3 1/2" diameter foot, and 3 1/4" high. It weighs 262.6 grams or 8.44 oz. troy. There are no dents or heavy scratches. It will really shine with a little more polishing.
