Although this ca 1950s Soviet Russian flatware looks like sterling silver, I believe it to be the special silver plated white metal known is Russia as "melhior". This is a dessert set with a square shovel like spoon and a broadly rounded two tine fork. The bowls, front and back, are plated with 24k gold. The handles have 6 diamonds and beading around the edges.
The spoon is 5 1/4" (13.3 cm) long and the fork is 5 3/4" ( 14.6 cm). The backs have a matte surface and hallmarks. They are in good used condition with very little wear of the gold.
