From Mexico-a mid 1900s sterling silver individual open salt dip with a salt spoon whose bowl is engraved with the Aztec calendar. The round dish sits on three ball feet and has a gadrooned or roe edge. The bottom is stamped 925 DE-FM Mexico. The salt spoon, in addition to the round Aztec calendar bowl, has a handle on which the letters MEXICO are embossed. The back of the handle is stamped Mexico 925 and E( part of the stamp missed the narrow handle).
The dish is 1 7/8" diameter, 3/4" high, and weighs 13.0 grams. The spoon is 2 1/4" long, 3/4" wide, and weighs 3.4 grams. Condition is excellent.
