In the rare amber color, this footed water pitcher was produced ca 1885 by the American company Central Glass. The pattern is Lattice and Thumbprint aka Rope Band and Thumbprint. The foot and mouth of the jug are embossed with lattice-work designs and the body has six rows of inverted thumbprints. The reeded handle has been applied. It is 8 3/4" tall and 7 1/2" spout to handle. Condition is excellent. There are some "straw marks" which were created at manufacture.
I also have this in a smaller milk pitcher (see last photo).
