A tall ca 1900 napkin ring from China, hand wrought in 900 silver with an exaggerated hammered surface and bamboo rims. The front has an oval panel with an incised bamboo outline and inside which are raised/applied Chinese characters. The inside has some hallmarks which I have been unable to identify.
It stands 1 1/2" ( 38mm) and is 1 7/8" (48mm) across. Weight is 38.3 grams. Condition is excellent.
