An old nicely cast brass head of Shou, the Chinese God of Longevity, often represented with Fu (Prosperity) and Lu (Status), Taoist deities in human form. This piece has a loop at the lop so it can be hung in an auspicious place as a form of feng shui. There is a threaded hole for a mouth which looks like it might hold a loop for a door pull or door knocker. The head measures 3 1/8" x1 5/8" x 7/8" deep. Weight is 4 ounces.
