A ca 1930s Art Deco 10k gold ring with an oval faceted citrine in an incised and cut-out flower setting. The oval citrine, of amber yellow color, is bezel-set with a border of embossed flowers and foliage. The shoulders are a raised flower whose petal stretch out to support the stone setting whose cut-out design allows light to pass through and illuminate the citrine stone. The band is stamped 10K and two overlapping B in circles, the hallmark for Binder Bros., Inc., New York, NY in business from 1922- present.
The citrine measures 10mm x 8mm x 6mm (2.6 carats). The front of the ring is 9/16" knuckle to knuckle and rises 6mm above the finger. It weighs 2.3 grams.
