Wow them at the table when you have guests for crepes or pancakes. Probably a ca. 1890-1910 Consolidated Glass Company dispenser, this syrup is functional as well as beautiful. The molded milk glass or, in Victorian terms, solid white glass body has a large ear shaped applied handle. Both sides of the body have a puffy, raised design of a floral spray which has been hand painted with red for the flowers, green leaves and brown stems. The thumb lift nickel plated top still functions well.
The syrup stands 6 1/4" high and is 3 1/2" widest diameter. Weight is 13 ounces. There are no repairs, chips or cracks. The nickel plating on the top has worn off exposing the brass base. There is a little looseness or play in the lifting mechanism- probably an easy fix.
